Hello, my full name is Barbara B., but please feel free to call me Barb or Bea. My pronouns are she/her/hers. This is my first semester as a graduate student at SSU, and I am studying English and Rhetoric. As a mom and a student, I can relate to juggling the demands of work, family, and life, with school. If you’re stressed about a writing project, I am a calm tutor who is here to help.
Most recently, I bring a year of online tutoring experience from the PALS program at SRJC. I also have private tutoring experience with all levels of writers. Before returning to school, I was a research and writing paralegal. Additionally, I am a published poet.
This year, I am working as the LARC's Social Media Coordinator, as well as tutoring. I am also teaching English 100A/B.
