Hi everyone! My name is Kiara, and I’m a fourth-year student at SSU double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Applied Statistics, with a minor in Data Science. On campus, I work as a tour guide at the Welcome Center and have also had the opportunity to work at the Admissions desk. I’m also a tutor for a variety of MATH courses, an SI leader for MATH 165A and a member of MESA -- so I am well adapted to SSU!
Outside of math, I have a huge love for the outdoors! Whether it’s hiking, camping, spending time at the beach, or exploring the mountains and snow, I’m always up for an adventure. I also love staying active and going to the gym! I’m also a proud cat mom to three cats, all named after sauces: Sriracha, Tzatziki, and Gravy! On top of that, I’m an avid Mini Cooper enthusiast. I own one of my own and absolutely love it!
