Drop-In Tutoring Services
The LARC offers several drop-in options for various courses, including geology, economics/business, computer science, and math. Please click on a tab to get more details, including the courses covered, tutor names, locations, and times.
There are no appointments needed, and no limit to how much drop-in tutoring you can use. You can also read through our Drop-In FAQs to get more information about how drop-in services work.
About Drop-In Math
Drop-in math is being held in the LARC (first floor of the Library). Note though that Monday evening drop-in math (5:00pm-7:00pm) will be in the Darwin Lobby. You (students) can come any time during the drop-in hours and get help from a math tutor. In addition to the math courses listed below, you can get help with math in non-math courses, such as CS, Business, and Econ. If you want to get help during drop-in hours, you should bring your SSU ID for the sign-in, and your course materials. You are also welcome to bring in homework, and use the space to work on it, asking questions as needed.
For more focused one-on-one tutoring, we ask that you make appointments using the LARC-WC Online tile in your Student Portal. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to us at larcdeskw@sonoma.edu

Mondays: 10am-12pm and 3pm-5 pm in the LARC; 5pm-7pm in Darwin Lobby
Tuesdays: 10am-12pm and 4pm-7pm in the LARC
Wednesdays: 10am-12pm and 1pm-4 pm in the LARC
Thursdays: 10am-12pm in the LARC
Specific Math Course Support
While our drop-in tutors are ready to help with any math-based questions during drop-in times, you may have questions related to a specific math course, and so you may want to come in during a time that a tutor can help directly with that course.
